Ingredients
One & Done | Day Moisturizer & Primer SPF 30 with Vitamin C Beads:
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice – as the base of all Gleem products, aloe vera provides the skin with more than 75 beneficial components, including vitamins, minerals and amino acids, that improve skin hydration and encourage the healing of skin tissue and more.
Panthenol – also known as vitamin B5, panthenol is an excellent moisturizing ingredient that helps to reduce trans-epidermal water loss while having the ability to rapidly hydrate the skin.
Retinyl Palmitate – a gentler form of retinoid, retinyl palmitate helps to improve skin tone and texture while lightening areas of hyperpigmentation and helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Zinc Oxide – while One & Done also contains chemical sunscreens (e.g. benzophenone and octinoxate), we also add zinc oxide, which is a natural, mineral-derived sunscreen ingredient.
Soft Immersion Moisturizer:
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice – as the base of all Gleem products, aloe vera provides the skin with more than 75 beneficial components, including vitamins, minerals and amino acids, that improve skin hydration and encourage the healing of skin tissue and more.
Isopropyl Palmitate – an emollient that helps to improve skin texture while minimizing trans-epidermal water loss.
Glycerin – a humectant that keeps skin hydrated by pulling moisture from the atmosphere into the outermost layer of skin. It’s well-tolerated by sensitive skin.
Stearic Acid – a fatty acid that acts as an emollient to prevent water evaporation from the skin while strengthening the skin’s barrier function.
Glycosaminoglycans – these naturally-occurring carbohydrates help to attract water to the skin to keep it hydrated while improving the skin’s elasticity. Over time, glycosaminoglycans help to improve the appearance of fine lines.
Jojoba Seed Oil – a natural moisturizer that hydrates the skin while delivering antioxidant protection and helping to balance the oil production in the skin.
Safflower Seed Oil – a natural moisturizer that hydrates the skin and balances oil production while improving the skin’s barrier function.
Sodium PCA – an exceptionally hydrating ingredient that draws moisture into the skin’s upper layers and helps it to stay there.
Petrolatum – acts as an occlusive on the skin, forming a barrier against water evaporation to help the skin hold onto moisture. Ideal for dry skin.
Application Tips
Application Tips
1) Start By Cleansing Your Skin
First, cleanse your skin with Gleem Beauty's Super Nourishing Cleanser. Remember to use warm (not hot) water and lather gently. After cleansing, pat your face dry with a soft towel. Your skin doesn’t need to be bone-dry; just make sure most of the water is off.
2) Apply Your Favorite Moisturizer
It’s important to apply your favorite Gleem Beauty product before putting on a sheet mask. Using Gleem's All-over skincare brush dip the bristles into the jar. Use enough product to cover your face, you want to make sure your sheet mask has something to stock to. This step is essential because our formulation goes to work immediately and helps to open your pores to receive the benefits of absorbing through your sheet mask.
3) Place The Sheet Mask On Your Face
Now for the main event! Starting at your forehead, place the sheet mask on your face. Work your way down to your eyes, then over your nose, mouth, and chin.
Sheet masks are one-size-fits-all, so apply your mask carefully. Once you’ve placed the mask on your face, gently smooth out any bumps or wrinkles in an outward motion. You want the mask to cling directly to your skin as much as possible.
4) Wait 15 Minutes Before Removing The Sheet Mask
This is the fun part: relax! It doesn’t matter what you do during this time, just make sure not to move the sheet mask around. Read a book, watch a TV show, meditate, or have a quick soak in the bathtub. Whatever helps you relax, go for it!
Pro tip:
If you leave a sheet mask on after it becomes completely dry, it can actually irritate your skin and remove moisture. Normally, around 20 minutes is the appropriate amount of time to leave a sheet mask on.
5) Don’t Wash Your Face
This is another common misconception with sheet masks. After you’ve removed the mask, you’ll have some residue left on your skin. Don’t wash this stuff off! It’s all the nutrient-rich product from your sheet mask, so you actually want it there.
Instead of cleansing your face, simply pat the remainder of the serum into your skin. Be gentle and pat until your skin has absorbed most of the excess moisturizer.
6) Sheet masks are an essential part of any skin care routine. It ill help to keep all the vitamins and nutrients locked into your skin while they replenish your cells and make your skin glow. Once your done simply toss in the trash and enjoy your continued relaxed state.
